Welcome to the hamlet of Flat Top,WV. With Big Brother everywhere I thought I would add my own twist here in the country, it's called Little Sister. A camera that I can control. "Little Sister" is mounted on Mavis Manor. Watch the excitement of Flat Top. ( In the picture you see the carpark of Mavis Manor, and the Flat Top Post Office in the distance. Enjoy! - Baron Justyn J. M.

We booked a room at Mavis Manor and went whitewater rafting that weekend, which is about 30 minutes north of our stay. In short, I would recommend Mavis Manor to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet, clean and affordable stay. The bonus is a beautiful house with a long history, interesting and eclectic art, a great homemade breakfast (blueberry pancakes are yummy - they don't skimp on the berries!), and super gracious owners - Justyn and Lisa are very nice, interesting people. You can tell they really care about the business and your stay. I love the numerous cats around the house (however they don't allow them upstairs or in the bedrooms so if you have allergies, you're safe), the chickens, the quiet country space, and the little bit of bohemian edge....yet professional & comfortable......a special experience. I'll definitively be back if I'm in the area.

The Manor offers over three miles of trails on which to gallivant and adventure. At the summit of your hike, you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view of hills and mountains so grand that you'll forget how long you've been admiring the view. At the end of a fun filled day, when you are feeling happily exhausted, we have Tea and Hot Cocoa, grab a movie and relax. With so much to do at Mavis Manor, you may never want to leave!
